Tried this instead of a silicon based shine

I am 71, my hair is coarse, dry, 50% gray, shoulder length. This smells A-mazing! But not only did it not give shine, it did weigh down my hair, yet even in Florida humidity my hair was behaving flyaway like when I have been in Colorado dry winter. I wash and condition once a week but at 5 days after application my hair looked greasy and dirty. I hate to waste money ... So I'm delighted to use it on my skin (not face) and I smell yummy!
Perfect for price point
I have color treated, wavy, brunette, fine hair with extensions. I apply this to dry hair from the ponytail down to the ends. I don't put these products on my roots. I bought SheaMoisture to compare to a more expensive product, L'anza Silk Serum. Now that I have extensions, I am going through more product (b/c more hair) and L'anza is 3x the price of SheaMoisture. So I parted my hair down the middle and used L'anza on one side and SheaMoisture on the other side. I compared throughout the day and asked family and friends for their feedback. When asking others their opinion, I didn't say which side was which product. I told them I used two different products on my hair and wanted to see what they though between the two. Both products smell AMAZING, add shine, and make the hair feel soft and smooth. SheaMoisture is a great product especially for the price point. The only con, is my hair looked more greasy but I don't feel it looked overly greasy but enough that my friends and family noted the side with SheaMoisture applied when asked if my hair looked greasy, and if so, which side looked more greasy. (If that helps). Thus, I feel this is a fantastic product that your beauty on a budget will appreciate. Personally, kept both products, because I like the look of the SheaMoisture when styling with a 3 barrel hot iron. I feel a 3 barrel can make my hair appear more dry, so the SheaMoisture was perfect.

This hair oil smells amazing! I don't need to wear perfume, and people still compliment the smell. It helps so much with my hair texture. I would definitely purchase again.

This product was wonderful! I use every time I need to have a smooth finish. I have very curly hair and this does the styling trick to keep the frizz away
