i felt like i needed a number of pumps to get enough shampoo to wash my hair, there was a minimal amount of lather but a light, pleasant smell, when i rinsed my hair it felt clean, not weighted down with synthetics and chemicals, this is a good shampoo, i used it for myself and my children
