HALF MAGIC Chromaddiction Matte Eye Paint + Eyeliner

I LOVE this colour and really wanted this to work but sadly that is not the case. The colour goes on super patchy and once applied feels sticky on my eyelids. The worst part is, is that it badly creases and didn't even last half a day. I've tried to apply this in my different ways but each time the product is a fail.

I bought both the brownie shade in the matte formula and the baby pheonix shade in the metallic formula and will be returning both. I rarely return products and had really high hopes for these based on recommendations, but they're plain awful. Tried multiple ways to apply these (straight from the wand without blending, fingers, from the wand blending with a brush…) and no matter how much I worked with them, they ended up an extremely patchy mess. Even worse than the patchiness was the fact they creased terribly, got even patchier if i tried to set them with anything, and were very sticky. Honestly the stickiness was the worst part. So sticky that i was struggling to blink. Did not play well with other products like eyeliner, eyeshadow, or false lashes. Dont be fooled by the way they swatch, they don't perform the same on the eyes.

Patience and proper application technique is key here. I like to layer the matte with sparkles on top. My tips are: 1) let the base layer dry down completely. Don't open your eyes fully, don't move them around. Look down and let them dry. 2) If adding a top sparkle layer, press in with a brush. Don't swipe it or you can compromise your base layer. 3) Use Washi tape for clearly defined shadow boundaries but make sure it is stuck tightly to your skin because the liquid eyeshadow can bleed underneath. I wore this to a party and received so many compliments. Then I got on here and bought nearly the entire collection.

This liquid eyeshadow product is awful. I got this for free, and yet I feel like it's still not even worth that. Pro: Very pigmented (upon FIRST BRUSH *IF* YOU DONT TOUCH THE STREAK YOU PLACED DOWN AFTERWARDS AT ALL) Cons: Pigment disappears if you try to blend it or spread it. You can't wear false lashes because the liquid eyeshadow is like an oil that prevents any makeup or substance from sticking to your face; so you can only really wear this faded liquid shadow on your eyelids and that's it. It's sticky. You can see the shape of the direction in which you applied the liquid shadow. You CANNOT reapply the shadow onto the same spot because as I said earlier, it's like an oil that doesn't let anything stick to it because it'll just slide right off, it does absolutely nothing. Worst makeup product I've ever tried in my life. I was extremely disappointed to have been told it was from a well-respected company and supposedly good quality.

This is such a beautiful eye shadow. The color is beautiful and looks amazing on brown eyes. It applies so easily and blends out as well. Takes some tome to dry so easy to work it. I definitely will but other colors
