Soak feet in warm, soapy water. Lightly pat dry feet.
Lift ingrown part of toenail away from the skin using the cuticle pusher / toenail lifter. Clean debris from under the nail.
Carefully slip long, straight nipper blade under ingrown toenail. Gently squeeze handles to trim toenail straight across. Smooth nail edges with a file to prevent recurrence.

If you've ever dealt with an ingrown toenail, you know how uncomfortable it can be. This kit makes handling it at home feel a lot less intimidating. The clippers are sharp and angled in a way that actually helps you reach the corners of the nail without struggling. The double ended tool is also useful for gently lifting the edge of the nail and cleaning around it after soaking your feet. The tools feel sturdy and not flimsy at all. They have a nice weight to them and don't feel cheap. I would definitely recommend soaking your feet first to soften the nail because that makes the process much easier and more comfortable. It might take a little patience the first time you use it, especially if you are not used to trimming ingrown nails yourself. Just go slow and be careful. Very heavy duty ingrown toenail remover. You have to be careful because it will cut a lot but effectively removes ingrown nail. Skinny enough at the tip to get down the edge carefully. Very sleek, comes with a cover for easy travel .

I ripped my toenail off and having these handy was very useful. I was able to trim off any parts of the nail that didn't fully rip off and trim off the parts of my nail that were growing in weird to prevent getting ingrown toenail. These have a different angle than regular clippers which makes it great for that.
