The dark brown was more of a taupe or medium brown with red undertones. Definitely not a true dark brown. The pen itself looks good. I like that ...

A Must Have !!!
While the shade range is limitied, this has completly replaced my NYX brown pen. The applicator is tiny and provides a soft black that fills in my sparse brows perfectly. It lasts all day, dries downs quickly and is the perfect price!

I like that it has a brush on the end unlike the Anastasia brow pen. I wouldnt but this again and im actually returning the one i bought i hate it so much!

A very soft brown black that works to fill in my brows naturally. It is not very pigmented but it does dry out quickly which is nice!

Tip is veey thin and sble to mimic precise hair-like strokes. Not the best for frawing long lines, but perfect for adding perceived fullness to brows.

I wanted to love this but could not get it to consistently apply a line of color. The tip would either not want to work or too much would come out all at once. Love the concept but could not get it to work well for me. Half the time I had to go back with micellar water on a pointed q-tip to clean up.
