Use the Blackhead Extractor after a warm shower when your face is clean, and pores are open. Position the curved tip over the blackhead and gently press to extract. Use the pointed tips to carefully pull out the blackhead or solid extraction. If it is not extracting, do not persist. Keep area clean and apply a cold, clean wash cloth to area to help soothe. Cleanse your face afterwards with your favorite Ulta Beauty Collection face wash. Disinfect the tool by soaking for 30 minutes in 70% isopropyl alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or antibacterial soap.

With this blackhead tool do you use the sharp pointed end of the tool to poke a tiny hole in the pore where the blackhead is then use the rounded part and push down on each side to extract the blackhead?? I've watched videos that do this. I have really deep pores and applying pressure is just not enough to get them out.

- Verified Reply - Staff ExpertWe suggest to cleanse skin before use. Then apply a hot towel to skin to open your pores, or use immediately after showering. Position the curved tips on each side of the blemish and press slightly. Then use the pointed tips to carefully remove the blackhead.Was this answer helpful to you

I have used numerous products and keep my skin healthy and clear. Besides, the "forever blackheads" on my nose that are deep, hard to reach and nothing seems to clear. I've used the other tool with circle ends and it works on all other blackheads but my nose. Should this product work for those crazy hard to get blackheads? Additionally do you have any more suggestions to get rid of them and keep them gone? Thank you.

Not a blackhead extractor
I bought this with the intention of removing a bunch of blackheads that had clustered in one spot after trying new skincare products. Sadly, it doesn't work for that purpose. It's hard to grab ahold of them and pull them out. All it does it cut up my skin since it's so sharp. doesn't even have a go...

I mainly use these for removing clogged hair follicles and pores under my breast. It works pretty good for removal. Just be careful with how you store them; the metal ends will bend if too much force or pressure is on them.

This probably works great for regular blackheads, but I tried to use it on stubborn, decades old blackheads on my nose that I have tried every product, tool, peel, mask, etc. out there on to no avail, and while it did end up giving me the best results out of anything I've tried so FAR, it wasn't magical or anything. I basically was just able to poke a hole in the stubborn two blackheads that I can't seem to get rid of (and haven't been able to for 10+ years) on my nose, and I was able to smooth out the surface of my nose a bit, but they're not GONE by any means. I would recommend this item to anyone with fresh blackheads that you're just looking to pop in a more hygienic way. It's not a miracle tool by any means, but it does what is advertised.

i found this to be really helpful getting into the tighter spaces of my nose. it really does make it easy to use. however, i noticed that over time, the tips of the tweezers would separate from each other and there would be a small gap.
