Thick conditioner/mask that smells heavenly

The scent is heavenly -it's floral, and it takes me back to the scents popular from the late 90s. The texture is very thick, and coats hair well with oils and other moisture and smoothing ingredients. My hair is dark, naturally has a slight wave, and not color treated. This is marketed as a fri...

Good, but not GREAT

Received product as part of a product campaign. All views are my own. THis is a nice enough product. My family and I tried it on a number of different hair types. The weather right now is quite frigid where I live. Hair has been forced to deal with many conditions - low humidity, static electricity...

The mask had a good scent, not too strong. I like that the oacalgin is compact and not too tall so you can stack it! The mask was ok, it helped a bit with frizzyness but not with the baby hairs for the price point this is really good and gets the job done.

Not for me

[Received free item to review.] Would not recommend this product. Did not do much, if anything for my hair. If anything, it made my hair feel a bit worse after use. But I gave it 3 stars because I think it would be better for thick/curly hair (I have thick straight/wavy hair). I also really did not like the smell. It is similar to the smell of a store in mall or shopping center. If it smelled better, I would have used more of it.

Ok, feels unnecessary

This reminds me more of a thick conditioner than a hair mask. While it does make my hair soft, it doesn't seem to do anything my regular conditioner doesn't. The smell is ok, not my personal favorite, but it is very strong. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review

Conflicted at best

My hair has that weird texture where it's not perfectly wavy or curly, but it is also not completely straight. So what do I typically get? A ton of frizz with no specific shape of the wave to embrace. So, naturally, I was excited to try a product that deals with the frizz. However, after giving this mask a fair trial, I'm gonna say this is a "no" for me, considering other alternatives on the market. Firstly, it's really thick and hard to spread out on the hair. I have long thick hair, and getting this mask to cover the majority of my hair without using a ton of it was quite the task. The scent of this product threw me off too - it's a heavy gardenia-like scent that is not pleasant but is very overpowering. After a few uses, the scent of the mask started to cause nausea for me. Lastly, after thoroughly washing it off every time it made my hair greasy post blow drying and styling! And I am talking within the same half an hour of getting out of the shower. I don't think it was a user error. Maybe I wouldn't have that issue if I used less product, but, again, spreading the mask over the whole head of hair without using too much is pretty much impossible. I think it might work well for someone with curly hair and in need of deep deep moisture, but I would advise anyone else to stay away.
