Truly solid primer for acne-prone skin

Honestly, I was quite impressed with this product. I truly love how this is one of the few products I can trust to fight/not give me any acne. Don't be fooled by the green color; the product is sheer and left no green cast. It leaves a slick nearly dewy finish on skin, dare I say oily-esque, but the...

hydrating on dry skin. acne fighting? idk about that one

i was disappointed on how the green color basically vanishes on the skin. i thought the reason why it's green in the first place is because it's like a color-corrector, but i was wrong. as for the "acne fighting" part, idk if it actually works. but so far, it hasn't broke me out, so… 🤷🏻‍♀️ it melt...

Love!!! I don't find a lot of primers w sa acid, doesn't irritate my skin but it successfully dries out my pimples. The salicylic acid does control my oil a bit but keep in mind this isn't necessarily a mattifying primer.. which is okay with me as i'm a powder/baker anyways

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

I expected this to be closer to the tarte primer. However, the consistency of this is much different and not what comes to mind when I think of putty. It has a silky consistency and feels really lightweight. My face feels so smooth and my foundation looks more smooth and even going on.

I wasnt expecting it to be grippy, But this feels like a balm. The thin, greasy texture made it so hard to keep my foundation in place! Took me 2-3x longer to blend and set my foundation. Texture isnt thick at all (how I would expect a putty primer to be) so the green barely cancelled out my redness. I even tried it a second time using the elf grip primer (my go to) underneath this primer to try a no-makeup look to hopefully cover my redness, Nope. Did nothing. Returning.

I don't know if it actually heals acne you have already, but i does not cause acne for sure. I have mega sensitive skin, and most all face products sting and break me out. This is one of the only primers that does not sting, and never causes acne. It also helps smooth out texture in my skin, and holds my foundation together very well. It gets 5 stars dor sure. Cannot beat the price either. If you are oily, you may need something else. This does not do much in the way of oil control.
