I have it and I don't know if it's supposed to be like a hairspray because I know it is this exact one but in a bigger bottle. When I spray it it makes my hair like really crunchy. Is it supposed to do that.

Best Thermal Protection Spray
I've tried thermal protection sprays from Cantu and Aussie and they both make my hair feel hair and brittle. I can say even as African American woman, my hair type is short, but very thick, and I still love this product. It smells really great and I am glad this was my first CHI product.

Ive been using this stuff for around a year now and as a daily heat user its been a life saver! Ive gotten many compliments on how my hair looks healthy and im crediting this product!

Hair Type Straight Hair
I usually use Redken thermal spray and thought I would give Chi a try. Chi does not have the hold that Redken does.
so gummy
I love the smell of this spray - similar to mens cologne - but it makes my hair feel awful. It feels so gummy and its hard to get my brush theough it. My haie gets so tangled the second I move my head around. Would not recommend at all. Putting this on clean hair makes me feel like I need to wash it again the same day!

Ppl claim this product doesn't hold well "curls " this product doesn't clam to do that it's a heat protector it does what it says and it work and it's a better cheaper alternative for our girls on a bugget!!.
Sticky on hair
I made the mistake of not reading the description for this, this should only be used on dry hair! I used it on wet hair before a blow dry and it made my hair so sticky and dirty. My hair didn't dry properly. Tried it for its intended use–on dry hair, and got the same results! It feels waxy, heavy, sticky. Yuck! My hair felt wet even after waiting for it to dry down because of how sticky it is. Only plus is that I love the smell of this product.
