Q
I have toe nail fungus, and a doctor recommended a "side cutter" from a beauty shop. He said the hardware store ones were garbage. And I was wondering if it was something like this.

Still the best

Revlon still makes the best nippers. This is a new style for me but has the same quality as my old one. It is very precise and yet gentle. Usually I cut a bit too close when I get new nippers but not with these. I like the gripper design on the handle. The only thing that I noticed was that th...

Badly made spring, broke after third use!

As good as the cuticle nippers are, the spring design and material are just as bad as turns too soft with use and breaks after three or four times. This is the second one purchased with same results. Please be advised, until either Revlon authorizes stronger material for spring or finds another thir...

Spring weakened and cracked and became useless within a year. The jaws were not properly aligned and did not cut cleanly. So useless.

I finally bought a new one and hate the change to the handles they've made. They're no long rounded, they're pretty much right angles that dig into your hand when you use them. We're they trying to save a few dollars by taking that small bit away!?

Spring broke after a few uses

I have always assumed Revlon produced quality goods. But in the last few years they have been slipping. The spring lever snapped on my nippers, which shouldn't have happened for many years yet, especially based on the price. Does Revlon have any kind of warranty by chance?

Disappointing

I bought these nippers from a renowned brand like Revlon thinking that it would be a success, but unfortunately, for my surprise, it just doesn't work, it doesn't get rid of cuticles and if I'm not careful, I risk getting hurt when I use it because of such poor cut. Worst thing is that I can't even return it since, obviously, I've used it already, and it was expensive!! My previous nipper, from a generic brand, did the job better than this.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Brittle springs, break.

The spring is brittle and breaks as others have said. They seem to last only a fre months until the spring snaps. I'd like to buy replacement springs. Where can I order a 10 pack? I'd rather replace the springs than add another nipper to the landfill.
