5 Stars
This is honestly the best mineral sunscreen I've ever tried. The formulation is SO moisturizing that I normally skip my moisturizer when in a hurry and just wear this. It does feel thick and gooey when coming out of the tube but it does blend extremely well. I tried the brush to apply, but I did fin...

If it sounds too good to be true…
I'm 52, live in California and have been wearing sunscreen on my face for decades… the best sunblock is always a Zinc based one, BUT they are usually sticky, not makeup friendly and leave a white film (im biracial so thats a deal breaker for my skin tone)… this came with great reviews and promises satin smooth finish… FALSE. It leaves a grainy texture that no amount of rubbing in fixes. Putting any kind of makeup on after (concealer, liquid or powder foundation, even eyeshadow) results in a blotchy application that also feels rough. The tint was perfect, no smell and love the natural ingredients, but that zinc base just doesn't blend enough. Still looking for a reliable face sunscreen.
SUMMERTIME FAV.
I want to begin by noting that I have clear combination skin, so my experience may not apply to all skin types. That being said, the texture of this product is quite thick initially, but once it warms up on the skin, it applies smoothly and transforms into a beautiful tint that gives a radiant glow. The shine does settle down after about an hour. Additionally, the use of clean ingredients makes it all the more appealing.
Still on the fence
I like the color. Very subtle, doesn't add color but does add coverage and smooths out skintone. But it's thick. And therefore a bit greasy. I wear it for days I'm not going out much but don't think I'd wear it for ebery day use. It's just too shiny for me.
Absolute No
Picked it up because of the reviews, returned it after one use. Put it on and my face felt like it was immediately suffocating. I have incredibly dry and sensitive skin so most of the time, I prefer a thicker style moisturizer but this just wasn't it. It went on unevenly and never dried down. My hair stuck to it and if you have texture sensitivities, this will be your worst nightmare.
Best sunscreen formula on the market
I have a BS in biology & extremely sensitive skin + sensitivity of every pesticide & chemical. Also, large pores that are prone to clogging. Hands down the only mineral sunscreen with a high enough zinc concentration & no silicones! Absolute dream formula. Only con: tint is too dark & oxidizes orange; not for fair skin.
