Most Helpful Positive Review LOVE this affordable straightener!!!
My Remington straightener died a couple days ago and I wanted to buy a nice titanium one because I use my straightener daily (for curling or straightening) and my ceramic one was KILLING my hair. I have had everything from CHI, Remington, and hot tools but I am so thankful I came across this affordable titanium coated one. I just used it for the first time and I am in love with it. No pulling on hair, glides very easily, and is easy on the eyes. The only thing I had a problem with was fly aways, but that is probably because I need some heat protectant or was curling my hair with it.
If buying a titanium straightener isn't in your budget, this is the best straightener you will get for a nice price!
Most Helpful Critical Review Works well for fine hair
I like this product and it serves its purpose. For someone with fine hair who does not need high high heat, daily use and is on a budget it works wonderfully. However the plates do not close evenly across the iron. The only place the plates touch are at the tip of the iron, when you put hair through the plates it will still work like it is supposed to but can cause snagging or pulling of hair. Its easy to avoid as long as you're aware of the issue. If plates made even contact it would be the perfect tool.

My hair gets extremely frizzy and this has saved my hair! It makes it sleek and gorgeous in minutes! Plus it takes no time to heat up.

I got this straightener on sale. It is very easy to use and does its job. I have wavy/curly hair and it straightened it just fine.

Since hair salons are closed i wanted to do my own silk press and this worked AMAZING. And i was surprised bc my hair is always frizzy and never stays straight so i like extremely surprised. titanium >>>>>ceramic
Lex from Brunswick
Bought it. Hate it. You get what you pay for. My hair is very naturally curly and the front of my hair will not stay straight with this. Even with product it frizzes out and curls. Wouldn't recommend for hair similar to mine! I've had straightening tools way better and worth the price! Will be purchasing a more pricey one that works! ASAP!

Heats up quickly and gets very hot. It can straighten any type of hair which I love.
Baby Liss Dupe!
CHathaway from Philadelphia
I was gonna get they 2 inch baby Liss flat iron for $150 but was looking for a cheaper dupe. I love this one! Almost the exact same size for waaay cheaper. I didn't expect it to get so hot and didn't expect such great quality from conair. Highly recommend
Hair curls right up
Alexa from Brunswick
I had high hopes. Normally like Conair but it took all of 20 minutes for my hair to curl back up and frizz after using this. Very disappointed.
Perfect for my nappy hair
Tania from California
It's a great tool, I have thick hair that's frizzy, long and a bunch, it straighten really fast as thicker plate covers more and it actually stayed straight .
Destroyed my hair
Whit from Kentucky
I wanted to purchase this bc it had good reviews and was more affordable than most flat irons. This fried my hair and broke my ends off so bad! My hair dresser was shocked at the damage it had done in just one month and immediately recommended that I stop using this flat iron :(

I recently got my hair cut off (16") so I'm new to needing to do my hair every morning and this product has made it so simple to do. It heats up quick and gives me good curls!

I have very thick, wavy, coarse, shoulder length hair. I have a 1" flat iron with volcanic/ceramic plates that I love, but wanted to try a wider, titanium plate to see if it could speed up my styling time on days I am in a rush. I had seen really positive reviews of the 1" version of this iron on You Tube, and saw it on sale, so I scooped it up.
Now, some of my dissatisfaction is my own fault. I didnt look closely at the specs before I bought it. It has a dial to adjust the heat, but it doesn't actually tell you what the temperature is you're using, it just goes from 1-30 and you have to figure out in your head knowing that the highest heat is 455 degrees and kinda estimate what temperature you're using. I understand this is not a luxury hot tool, but it's regular price is over $40, and I used a $25 Remington Pearl for several years until it wasn't heating that well anymore and it had a nice digital display.
I can't find listed anywhere how long the cord actually is; my guess is 6ft, and it feels really thin and flimsy.
I think the rainbow plates are pretty, but as a personal preference I have discovered that I do not care for the 1 3/4" size, especially since, as others have mentioned in their reviews, the plates come right to the edge. It makes it way too easy to burn my scalp. If you have hair that's doesn't require you to start close to the root, this might not be a problem for you.
Overall, for me, this is not worth the money. As I mentioned before I've used less expensive irons that were better in my opinion then this.
For me I decided I'd rather pay a little more and get a higher quality brand while on sale, with a 1 1/4 inch plate, which works better for me.
I would definitely recommend

I was looking for a thin flat iron that I could use to straighten and curl my hair. I have short hair, and this works great. I think it would do a good job with long hair as well. The flat iron heats up quickly too.
Worth its price
Yulie from Long Beach
I don't flat iron my hair often but when I do I know I can count on this flat iron. It is also really easy to curl your hair with. I also love that it does not pull your hair if you brush your hair or comb before using.
Jpmommy from Long beach, CA
The highest setting was not needed to get my hair very straight and smooth!
Brittani from Conroe
I've read multiple rave reviews on this and I don't see why! The first time I used it it pulled my hair and wasn't any better than what I had previously. My 10+ year old flat iron is better than this. Also, there is no edge protection and I'm constantly burning myself! I don't have the box or I'd return it
Great product for price

Love it! Great price and it glides easily over hair.
Great Flat Iron
Brit from New York, NY
I'm transitioning from relaxed hair to natural since the pandemic hit. I wanted to buy an inexpensive flat iron that would straighten my roots (and looking for titanium plates). When I used this for the first time, it was like magic! Great tool!
Love it, except!
Griz from New York
Love this flat iron my hair is less frizzy and has no static at all. I also love that it doesn't pull my hair so badly as other flat irons I've had. I attempted curling with a 1 1/2 inch size but it did not work out. Possibly a smaller one would work, I recommend going for a flat iron with a rounded edge instead of squared. Other than that great product!
Love this product works great!
Gina from Baton Rouge, La
Love this product works great! I use it to flat iron and curl my human hair wigs.....I love it and it get very HOT
juls from alb, nm
Bought this product thinking it was going to work well. I used it for the first time and it puled my hair with the first set I went to straighten. I do not recommend this straightener now I have to wait to return it when the stores reopen. I rather get a straightener from ross at a reasonable price.
Love the product
Posh TX from TX
Love the product. . I have natural hair and was looking to try a silk press at home. Came out just like, I was at the salon. The reason for the 4 starts, was it has a dial for heat. But did not list degrees.
Ash from Oregon
This iron will rip your hair out. Literally, I can hear it breaking as I run it through my hair. It is not smooth, and it does not produce waves or curls. I would not recommend
Stopped working after a month
Jc from Nashville, TN
Worked for one month before it would turn on then keep turning off. Returned it for my money back.
Last Flat Iron I'll ever purchase !
Melanin Mami from NYC
I had seen this flat iron from a lot of hair reviews on YouTube and I decided to try it out and honestly it's the best flat iron ever. It gets the hair bone straight in one pass ! It's crazy because my other flat irons doesn't get this straight on its highest setting (and I actually don't like my hair to be bone straight just to keep the fullness of it). I use this iron on a lower heat setting just because of this ! 5 stars I told everyone that they need this iron
