Comments about Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment:

This is my new holy grail product. I'm just getting around to writing a review now, but I purchased this product on April 9 and by Memorial Day weekend I noticed a HUGE difference in my skin. I suffered from extremely bad breakouts for about a year because of birth control. Once I switched bc and my acne calmed down I then had awful scarring. I was so self conscious about it. I go to the Derm, but couldn't get an appointment and decided to give this a try (being skeptical about it not being a script from my doctor) because I couldn't wait any longer to get a topical. ALL of my scarring and sun spots are gone. I truly can't believe how well this product works and how FAST it works. You NEED this product if you are suffering from acne scarring and/or sun spots. I have extremely sensitive and dry skin. I slowly added it to my routine and now apply almost every other night (when I remember) and have had no issues of it drying out my skin or irritating it.

good but contains methylparaben like so many others

Comments about Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment:

Why do they put parabens in their products, this has methylparaben, they charge enough to use alternatives, this is for preserving the product granted but parabens are linked to breast cancer, probably small enough amount to be ok but a lot of drug store products brag about not using parabens. Love their skin care results but consumers need to start bringing this up.

Been using this 3-5 nights a week for a month or two. Definitely see an improvement in the skin around my eyes, mouth, and forehead (my problem areas). Love that it doesn't smell weird or feel glompy when I apply it. It does seem to irritate my skin if I us it every day, so I've been using it every two to three days. I have sensitive skin, so YMMV. Will definitely buy again!

      Amazing stuff

      By Blondie

      from Delaware

Comments about Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment:

This is the first retinol treatment that I've tried, and I'm so happy I did! I'm 24 and a lot of articles out there say to wait to try retinol skin care until 26 or later, but I've had consistent moderate acne since I was a teenager with black heads, enlarged pores, and acne scarring and heard that retinols were a great fix for all of those. I've used other prestige products that worked for a day or two, but then my skin would flare up. Or other products would help with the acne but not the scarring. This stuff is a lifesaver! In the two weeks that I've been using it (every other night) my skin has consistently been improving. My pores are getting smaller, my skins texture and color is evening out, and I have not had any cystic breakouts. I have had a few Whitehead's that are extremely small (about the size of my pore and not inflamed), but I'm thinking this could be my skin purging. My skin is gradually getting clear and more even. I haven't had any redness or peeling, and make sure to use sunscreen during the day. Try this, it's wonderful!

Comments about Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment:

I have been looking for a product to treat my hormonal breakouts for over 2 years. I tried everything from drug store products to high end spa products. Help Me is the only one that has made a huge difference in controlling my hormonal outbreaks, correcting hyperpigmentation, and smoothing out previous acne scarring. It's marketed as anti-aging but Retinol is great for acne as well. I will say if you have never used Retinol before make sure to slowly introduce it into your skin care routine, it's powerful stuff.

Comments about Philosophy Help Me Retinol Night Treatment:

I've always had larger than average pores and have dealt with adult acne. I've gotten the acne under control and decided to tackle the aging and pores. This seems to do both and do both wonderfully. I do need to take a night off every few nights because it tends to dry my skin out around my nose, but a night with only moisturizer fixes it right up. The reduction in pore size was noticeable in less than a week. I was nearly in tears I was so shocked to see my skin looking that nice.
Give it a try, you only need a little.
