Asked by Jocy
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there - we recommend using these direct acids in separate regimens. You could use Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner one evening, and Salicylic Acid 2% Solution on another evening, for example. We hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can this product help get rid of a suntan?
Asked by Andrea
Official Answer By The Ordinary - Brand Engage
Hi there - Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner can be used to help remove fake tan on the face and body. This formula will help to increase cellular renewal while exfoliating the skin's surface, both of which are known to help speed up removal of leftover self tan. However, please note that we do not recommend this product being used on covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Can I use this product in the bikini line and armpits? For razor bumps and dark spots

Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner has been tested for use on the face, neck, and scalp. It can also exfoliate areas of the body experiencing rough and bumpy skin. However, we do not recommend applying this product to covered areas of the body such as the inner thighs or underarms, as these areas may have more sensitive skin, and the natural occlusion of these regions may make them more prone to irritation. Was this answer helpful to you

Chemical Scalp Exfoliant - Helps Manage Dandruff & Oils

I use this product for "other than the intended purpose". Skin care is important to me, but I struggle with psoriasis/dermatitis which sometimes results in dandruff and a rough patch behind one ear. In the past I have tried glycolic acid for my face and it was terrible. More than just a purging, it...

Not a bad product, my skin just didn't care for it

Product came with 2 options to apply them with: a squirtle or a regular top lid thingy. I chose the squirtle and I'd spritz it on a bottom pad and swept across my face. It would sting me. I thought my skin was just not used to it. This was one of the first products I purchased when I got into skinca...

Hello Everyone! I don't write reviews often but love to read them. I felt compelled to write one on this product to add some information to be cautious of before using. I have combination dry skin and a bit of texture and hyperpigmentation (PIH). I wanted to start using this Glycolic Acid to help with that. The few things to understand, this is a very concentrated high percentage product and should be used in moderation and cautiously. Start with once a week for the first 3-4 weeks, then increase to twice a week (IF NECESSARY). Know that this product WILL cause purging (breakouts in certain areas), that can sometimes last from 2-8 weeks. Please do your research on the differences between purging and a skin reaction (purging is Usually localized to the areas you normally get acne and not all over your face/body part). Avoid contact with the eye area at all cause, by rinising your hands after. I like to apply eye cream before so i dont touch my eyes at all after. You MUST have a clean and completely dry skin before applying AND wait for it to fully dry down 15-30+ mins after. This product takes time to work and its not for everyone so please do some research and consult with a doctor if you are able. I am on week 9 and barely starting to see my skin calm down a bit. But ive seen it work wonders on my friends so i am sticking with it! Over all, i really do think it is workimg for me, hope this helps!
