Hi everyone. I am 54 years old. I am concerned about wearing too much makeup or looking too cakey.
Does anyone have any tips on how to apply make up the right way for my age so that it looks more natural?

I use tinted moisturizer. Highlights and SPF. Receive compliments on glowing natural skin lol (60th coming). I began focusing on skin care 4 months ago.

hi so id definitely recommend a moisturizer primer from embryolisse it’s going to prep your skin perfect to get a flawless foundation application without looking cakey or dry.

54 here... I start with good skin care so my makeup won't settle into my lines and look cakey. Then I put the foundation on my hand, tap my makeup brush in the foundation and apply with light tapping motions where I need more coverage first, then blending outwards. Also, use hydrating products and try to stay away from matte products, glow is more complimentary to our skin at this age 😉
Try not to use too much powder, especially under eyes and in crease zones on our face. There are some powders that do a GREAT job with our age group ie: IT Cosmetics, Laura Mercier, just to name a few

I wear unseen sunscreen on top of Belif aqua bomb… then- I ditched the foundation and replaced it with bare minerals complexion rescue tinted moisturizer. I will seriously never look back. 54 as well…
