Mario Badescu's best-selling moisturizer is designed to deliver lasting hydration and essential daily broad spectrum protection. This lightweight, oil-free formula is enhanced with green tea extract to help further defend against the harmful free radicals known to prematurely age skin and darken any existing areas of discoloration (like acne marks, age spots, sun spots).
After cleansing and toning, apply daily all over face before sun exposure, avoiding the eye area. Re-apply frequently to maintain protection and after perspiring or swimming. May be used under makeup or alone. If product gets into eyes, rinse well with water.
Active: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 5%, Octinoxate 7.5%, Octisalate 5%, Oxybenzone 5%.

Comments about Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30:

I wanted to like this product because I love other Mario products, but this lotion was a miss. It's way too greasy and doesn't absorb.
Also, the bottle gets clogged with hardened lotion at the opening- bad bottle design. Not worth it for the price...

feels good but consistency is off

    By Steph

    from Cincinnati

Comments about Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30:

this feels really soft and it's a pleasant pink color. my main gripe is the packaging. I don't like the flip lid because sometimes this comes out as pink moisturizer and other times it is watery and bubbly. maybe I need to shake it?? it makes me wonder what is going on with formula.
when I can get a good amount out of it, it does make for a smooth start before makeup.

Comments about Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30:

This product claims to be oil free but it literally sat on top of my skin for over 30 minutes. I have to use oil blotting sheets before I apply foundation. This product would probably be great for someone with dry skin who wants sun protection. If your skin is oily or combination oily like mine, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. However, I've personally had very good results with the Rainforest Tarte line. Cleanser, mist, and oil free moisturizer are terrific for oily skin just don't expect it to protect from the sun.

Comments about Mario Badescu Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30:

Love this moisturizer! I've been looking for a cruelty free SPF for daily use. I was using the Josie Maron but it broke me out terribly and left a noticeable white cast. THIS DOESN'T! I've used this every day for about three weeks and have had NO breakouts from this product and my makeup goes on lovely over this. It is moisturizing but not too heavy. It does sit on the skin a little bit but I like that because my skin never feels dry throughout the day. I have oily-combo skin and this doesn't make me overly so. I went to Disney World last week and only used this for my SPF on my face and didn't burn at all. It's sun tested! Would recommend if you are acne-prone and need a good SPF and daily moisturizer.

I had high hopes for this spf moisturizer, but there is no way this is oil free. I've combination skin and it was extremely greasy and oily for me. The protection was good though and it looked fine under makeup, but gave me a pimple in my forehead :/

I have oily skin and extremely sensitive skin. My face will tell me as quickly as the first time that I try a new product, whether or not if a product is great or terrible. My pores clog easily and quickly. This moisturizer is wonderful. A little goes a long way. My face soaks it up within minutes. My face and neck look really good. I do not have a problem with getting product out of the bottle. I have no scent with my moisturizer. I will buy this moisturizer again and again.

The Oil Free Moisturizer is a water based moisturizer, that is lightweight in texture and oil free. It is certainly not like a gel or a cream moisturizer.

            • Q:

So I have acne prone skin and have been using the Aveeno positively radiant moisturizer. Now that it is winter time, my skin is drying out and I want something that is oil free, has sunscreen, and provides me a lot of moisture. Would you recommend this one, the complex moisturizer with Vitamin E, or the Aloe Vera moisturizer?
Asked on 1/3/2017 by Beauty Buff from Denver,Co

              • Brand Expert

                A:

I would say that the Aloe Moisturizer SPF 15 would be the best bet. It is still oil free, but is a bit heavier than the Oil Free Moisturizer SPF 30.
The Complex Moisturizer with Vitamin E SPF 20 would not be ideal for acne prone skin - it is a moisture intensive formula that does contain oil.

I am 61 yrs. old. Experiencing menopausal skin. Or should I say combination. Don't know what to expect. But keep hearing it's great for acne-prone skin. I tend to be more dry these days. My Nordstrom consultant put a sample in my bag. After using it I like the moisture. Is this for me? I'm not trying to dry out.

The Oil Free Moisturizer (SPF 30) is a lightweight and oil free moisturizer formulated for oily or combination skin types. Our Complex Moisturizer SPF 20 is designed for dry skin in need of extra moisture and does contain hydrating sesame oil. I would not recommend switching if you are happy with your current moisture levels.
