We advise cleaning your brushes every 1-2 depending on how often you use them. IT is important to deep clean them to maintain the integrity of the bristles. this brush that is amazing. I wish it included more. I wish the handles would thinner though to tell you the truth, especially on the bigger face brushes. As far as application goes they all work amazing. I find the biggest brush almost a little too dense and fluffy it gives you extreme full coverage for powdersand the concealer brush is out of this world. I've had my set for 10 years, probably longer and it's only now starting to fall apart the concealer brush anyways.
