- Official Answer By ClarinsWe use a combination of mineral filters in our UV Plus Anti Pollution Sunscreen: • Homosalate • Octocrylene • Oxybenzone • Titanium Dioxide These filters reflect and absorb UVA (aging rays) and UVB (burning rays). There is not 1 specific ingredient that works on the aging ray.. it is a combination of these ingredients that provide the protection. In regards to the strength of the product… Sunscreen efficacy is not determined by strength but by time. The higher the SPF, the longer the protection. The most recent purchase (7/2025) of this product is so different from the old purchase, it has strong fragrance, please take of the fragrance if you updated your formula recently. The older version is so good with no fragrance or irritation at all.

I've been a tinted moisturizer user for 15+ years and needed a new option because my go to was no longer working for me. I grabbed a sample on a whim and the search is over, this is now my GOAT tinted moisturizer. It gives an almost airbrush look and feel while still being light coverage, zero eye sting and a subtle fragrance that doesn't scream sunscreen. Also love that it's one of the highest SPF options out there. I apply a few drops and blend with a brush.
