I'm on the fence with this one!

I really wanted to love this Kristin Ess Flyaway Wand in Ultra Light. I have short little hairs along my part from breakage, and I was hoping this would help smooth everything out. It kind of did the job. When it worked, it worked — the finish looked clean and sleek, and the color blends in nicely w...

Formula works great but the packaging is so trash

I actually really enjoyed this product for a couple of weeks because the formula is good and non greasy. However, the packaging is terrible the plastic cap portion on the wand snapped off and cannot be closed anymore. The wand is way to big and pulls too much product

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Such a great postpartum product! I didn't have a lot of baby hairs and flyaways until a few months PP. I've never heard of this product and think it's genius! I also hate getting my hands sticky so the brush it comes with is perfect. This is perfect for those who don't need a lot of product but just need it in certain areas.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

Hair Type Very Curly Hair

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] Let me just say the one good thing about this product which is it technically works okay enough. Now, I have frizzy hair, so much so that it's actually a nickname of mine in certain circles. So for it to work on all of my flyaways I'd have to use a lot. It's best for people who have more sleek hair with the occasional flyaway. The wand also caught and snagged in my hair, and maybe that's just from being curly, but I don't see the appeal of the wand over just dabbing a little onto your fingers and applying it that way. Now onto the bad. This smells like I got curious about my grandma's modern chic perfume and accidentally spilled a bunch all over myself embarrassingly in the bathroom. It's a nice scent if it was dialed down by a lot but as is, it's overwhelming. Extremely overwhelming. It also is free of a lot of bad ingredients but the fragrance alone made my scalp burn and due to that and the scent I had to rinse my hair again today, which with curly hair isn't ideal. I am a person that's sensitive to fragrances and this being so heavily perfumed is just a confusing decision to me. It's a flyaway cream, why does it have the scent throw of a perfume lotion? The pictures are before and after applying it to my hairline where I tend to have the most frizz. No editing, taken on a Google Pixel 9 Pro. Would I spend money on this? Absolutely not. As it states above, I received it for free in exchange for a review and I still wish I could get a refund it was so bad. So yes, it does work. Is it necessary, though?
