My son bought me a sampler from Ulta that included this product. I loved it, but in less than a year it turned rank, really bad smell. I still have it, why I don't know. Maybe because I had over half left, and it really disappointed me. Question- shouldn't it have an expiration date since it will go bad?

Essential oils are aromatic extracts concentrated from plants that retain the essence of their origin. Natural fragrance is a blend of aromatic compounds and essential oils extracted from different parts of plants including flowers and fruits. Because of these natural ingredients, the scent of the Body Oil can sometimes change over time and may occasionally bring forward a seaweed aroma. This natural variation does not impact the quality or effectiveness of the product. Additionally, all our products have a Period After Opening (PAO) of 12 months, with the exception of the Seabiotic® Water Cream, Undaria Algae™ Body Butter, and Ocean Cleanser, which have a 6-month PAO. If unopened, they last for 2.5 years from the manufacturing date! Smells good and feels amazing
As a first time user of body oil, i understand the hype and will never go back. The scent is light kind of lemony. I wish for the price it was a bigger bottle than 1oz compared to $52 for the og size. Would recommend but not sure i would buy again as it lasted maybe 2 months and am more interested in other scents and more product. If you like a fresher, lighter smelling oil this is for you but reminds me of the kitchen.
High quality, mild scent, absorbs well.
I don't usually like body oils because they tend to just sit on my skin and leave me greasy. I tried the travel size of this oil and really liked it, so decided to invest in a larger size. The oil absorbs well, leaving my skin feeling extra hydrated without greasiness, and I only need to apply a small amount, as it spreads well. I especially like to use it after shaving my legs, for overnight hydration, and for extra hydration on knees and elbows. It has a mild scent, so it doesn't compete with any of my stronger scented products.
