I have been a devoted user and fan of Laura Mercier Ambre Vanille hand cream for about 8 years and have turned many family and friends on to it. I was surprised to see a change but my initial thoughts are it was just a packaging update and honestly who doesn't need a little update or change every once in awhile. Sadly that is not the case, the smell of the hand cream is not the same either. Not only do I feel like there is less in the tube, the smell is so faint and subtle, I can barely smell it. At this price, it just isn't worth it. I never had a problem dishing out the price previously but the smell was so enticing and dreamy and would last all day. I'm so disappointed to report that I will no longer be using this hand cream.

This plain, plastic tube is inconvenient, ugly, nondescript and feels like I'm carrying around a ugly tube of toothpaste. I've dropped the top a dozen times already, a big pain in the neck, and in total LM has ruined the experience completely. For the price, I will return to Lollia hand cream which although it has a screw cap also, is beautifully boxed and packaged at a lower price point.
