This clip is so cute and made extremely well. I have thick hair, and it easily holds it. The only issue I have is that I have thick, naturally curly hair and if I don't brush my hair before putting in this clip, it doesn't fit snug. It'll start falling down after a couple of hours. I only wear clips on days where my curls are wild, so I brush it out on those days anyways. Not a huge inconvenience, but it may be for some who have the same hair type! Overall, this is my favorite clip that I own. It's cute and I've gotten several compliments on it!

Ok. I like this clip! It's super cute for pulling the top part of your hair back. It's a bit too small for thick hair. It's comfy but bulky if you want to lay your head back, so maybe wear it for fashion and not for lounging at home. It seems pretty strong, I haven't fully tested it....but I haven't broken it yet, so that's a good sign. It does have a textured coating if you have sensory issues and would rather have a slicker clip.

This is definitely meant for someone of a different hair texture than me. It is extremely cute, so I wanted to love everything about it and use it for decoration, but it wasn't meant to be, I suppose. I can't attest to a half up hair style for obvious reasons
