I would not recommend this clip. I wouldnt even say I have thick hair, but when I put this clip in it would not stay up. I tried to readjust the clip and it broke into pieces one day after buying. Honestly disappointed :(

This clip is so cute and doesn't stab your head! It held my hair in place and I didn't have to constantly fix it. Sadly I only got to use it once before my dog stole it and destroyed it
