Trim wick to 1/4" before each burn. Never leave candles unattended, and don't burn for more than 4 hours at a time. When 1/4" of unmelted wax remains, discontinue use.
Warning: Burn within sight. Keep away from flammable objects. Keep away from children and pets. Only burn the candle on a stable, heat resistant surface. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Make sure that the wick is trimmed to 1/4" before lighting.

I contacted customer service but was told I could not return them (even still unused and in their original packaging) because I had received a free pair of Jenni Kayne sandals with them as a promotion (which did not fit at all and ...

I did not care for the scents of any of the three candles I ordered. I contacted customer service but was told I could not return them (even still unused and in their original packaging) because I had received a free pair of Jenni Kayne sandals with them as a promotion (which did not fit at all and I also was willing to return, unworn and in original packaging). Terrible customer service, and now I'm stuck with three expensive candles I don't like and sandals I can't wear. I won't be returning to either Oak Essentials or Jenni Kayne (and I have MANY JK sweaters).
