Saturate a small piece of cotton the size of your nail with Salon Gel Polish Acetone Remover. Place cotton over gel and wrap tightly with a small square of aluminum foil. Check first finger after 15 minutes; if necessary re-saturate cotton, rewrap finger and check every 5 minutes. Gently push off gel with cuticle stick.

It works great to remove gel polish at home. The only thing I didn't like is that in order to saturate 1 cotton ball for each nail it uses most of the bottle. I found a cheaper alternative at a drug store.

Purchased to remove professional gel polish. As instructed by my technician, I put remover on cotton ball and wrapped in foil over my nail. Left for 10 min. The remover made the polish a bit bubbly, easy to chip away, but I did have to sort of scrape it off with my nail instead of it just all coming...

So I used to get gel done way too much. I haven't gotten my nails done gel since November 2019, when I swore to my husband I was done putting my body in stressful situations. I loved getting a nice manicure that stayed because regular won't only stay for a week and a half if I was careful, and it left me in tears when my nails would chip right away. Gel was kind of like the save and grace for me but destroyed my nail beds. If I knew this product existed then I would have removed my own gel, and out clear gloss on it to keep them from breaking.

This is a good polish remover to remove gel nail polish. In my opinion it smells very strong and almost makes me feel dizzy when I'm using it in the bathroom. It is affordable. It gets the job done just wish the odor was not so strong.

I use this if I really need my nails off before going to the salon next. It is crazy strong, so be prepared to open a window or put a fan on when using!
