Overpowering smell
It smells like a combination of artificial watermelon and peach, powdered sugar, and a dash of baby powder. The smell is strong, and it holds on. Soap couldn't get it off my hands. Shampoo couldn't get it out of my hair. I had to clarify to get rid of it. If you have asthma steer clear of this one...

Works well but STRONG smell

My hair is always pretty flat on the top so I was excited to try this. I haven't tried it diffused yet but even just air dried I can see a noticeable difference in volume! I've tried so many products this is definitely the best results vs efforts so far. HOWEVER the smell is so odd it almost smels mildew-y to me, not sure if I can get over that (I've seen other people say that it smells like very artificial watermelon so take your pick I guess)
Not the right product for fine hair

I have fine, wavy hair and this did nothing for it other than make it smell nice. It promised volume, and I used a generous amount, as the bottle indicated, but it provided no additional volume. Will be returning and going back to mousse instead.

this product sprays in a large amounts instead of a mist and spraying it in my hair left it crunchy and very oily, I have multi textured hair with curls and waves but this weighed everything down like large amounts of gel. I wish it was like a mist so there wouldn't be that much product going in one area and weighing down my hair.
Good root boost

So this one needs a learning curve. I have fine , wavy hair and it did give me some great root boost. Thus the 5 stars. The learning curve is amount to use. I watched the curlsmith video and I don't have the same hair as the woman showing us. I used the same amoun, and my hair felt wet for way too long. I just used too much. I will use less and I am sure it will be great. The boost is fantastic!
