Q
Is this product good for young skin that has breakouts and textured skin and has a combination of oily/dry skin? I get pimples sometimes 😕
Asked by Preppyjesu$lover1234
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
This would be an excellent product if your skin is combination oily/dry and you have issues with barrier repair (extremely sensitive skin). However, if you do not have a barrier concern we suggest trying our Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream. The texture is a bit lighter and will address your concerns with combination skin. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

Q
Hello, My skin type is dry and sensitive. I have been dealing with redness and irritation from many different things I have tried. This product has worked great at soothing and removing redness from my skin. Love that! I do find I wake up with my skin feeling a bit dry in the morning. Should I keep using this for a bit until my skin "calms down" and move to a different moisturizer?
Asked by Irritated Skin
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
Hello! Thank you so much for the question - The Rescue Party Comfort Cream is designed to target redness and sensitivity specifically for a variety of skin types. We are so glad it is calming down your skin! We have a couple different suggestions for you and we hope they will guide you into making the best routine for your skin. Option 1 - You can continue using the Comfort cream AM and PM and add in our Super Oasis Concentrated Serum. This serum has 14.5% glycerin which adds to barrier repair and is clinically proven to provide 100 hours of hydration along with replenishing aquaporins in the skin. This can allow you to continue to use Comfort Cream and address additional dryness. Please note you can use Super Oasis along with other treatment serums you may use. We suggest doing your treatment serum first and then Super Oasis before moisturizer. Option 2 - You can use Comfort Cream during the day and use our Ultra Plush Rich Cream, this will offer some barrier support but focuses more on repairing dryer skin. A 3rd option is to Use our Rescue Party Barrier Repair Serum for deeper barrier repair as it is the companion to the Comfort Cream and use the Ultra Plush Rich Cream over the top, which will address your concerns for calming and address hydration for your dryer skin. Any option will be amazing, so choose the ones that seems best for your lifestyle. I hope this is helpful! Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Hello, I purchased this cream and had been using it. I noticed an off smell, like talk and old. Is it possible that I purchased a bad batch or is this how the cream is supposed to smell?
Asked by Ana
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
Hello. Thank you so much for the question. Typically, what you are smelling is the high concentration of colloidal oatmeal and lactobacillus ferment. Since we are a fragrance free brand there is nothing "masking" these natural smells, like they can be in other products. As a result some people may perceive these smells more than others. The Rescue Party Comfort Cream is a newer product for us and has a shelf life that lasts for 12 months after opening the jar, as indicated by the "12" icon on the side of the box with our list of "Nos". We hope this helps to assure you and to enjoy the amazing barrier repair and soothing benefits of our Comfort Cream. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
I have a friend getting ready to undergo radiation. Would this be a good gift for her to use on the skin has it heals from the radiation?
Asked by angstl
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
We are so sorry to hear about your friend and hope she recovers quickly! This product would be an amazing gift for her! The barrier support will be so helpful. However, please advise her to vet the product and what she can or cannot use post treatment as everyone's restrictions can vary. Was this answer helpful to you
Q
Would this be ok for oily/ combo breakout prone skin that gets dehydrated in the winter? I've used the barrier serum, but I usually end up with a few whiteheads the following morning and super greasy skin. Would this cream be 'lighter' than the serum?
Asked by Erika
Official Answer By Peach & Lily - Brand Engage
Hello, the Rescue Party Barrier Comfort Cream is much thicker than the serum. Effective barrier repair products are meant to form a 'film' over the skin to protect it and allow it to heal. Think of it like a liquid bandage for the skin. For combo/oily skin types that may not be an ideal sensorial experience for some. Dehydrated skin needs products that are thin and water based to replenish hydration and dry skins need moisturizing emollients (typically things with heavier oils) to create comfort. We suggest, for your skin, you try the Good Acids Pore Toner to help with breakouts > the Glass Skin Refining Serum > and the Glass Skin Water Gel Moisturizer. This is a water based oil free moisturizer that will replenish hydration without adding emollients that can feel heavier then you'd like. Hope this helps! Was this answer helpful to you

I love Peach & Lily, this is a complete miss though!

I've been using Peach & Lily for over a year now and have yet to find a product line with such wonderful ingredients. P&L formulations really do make a difference, especially the textures and overall experience. I've learned the hard way, even if the ingredients are good, if the formulation isn't on...

My dad was given a super strong prescription treatment for some dark spots (from the derm lasting off some suspicious spots with a different texture from the rest of his face that happened to be old age spots). It was the highest concentration of hydroquinone (8%) I've heard of, plus 0. 05% trentinoin. I warned him that he needs to layer some moisturizer with it, knowing who I get my weak skin barrier and sensitive skin from…he didn't listen to me and his face developed a painful rash that peeled his skin and developed into small open wounds. I gave him some of my soothing products and advised him to use Vaseline only for a couple nights. And I ordered this cream after reading ingredients lists of several creams for a while. While I waited for this to arrive, I gave him my Avene Cicalfate cream. It hadn't helped my allergic reaction-induce rash but it's supposed to healing and gentle. He didn't love it and gave it back to me. Then this Rescue Party Barrier Comfirt Cream arrived, just in time. My dad says his face feels comfortable after he uses this. No stinging. So this is what he's using to heal his skin before restarting the treatment—slowly, with caution and acclimating his skin to it slowly and pairing it with protective creams like this. I'll be adding this to my arsenal of healing and soothing products to have on hand for my skin irritations and episodes.

Soothing and Hydrating

My skin tends to get reactive when I use my retinol every night or if the weather is too dry. I use this moisturizer to combat the irritation and redness. It calms within hours and feels soothing. The only thing I don't care for is the scent. It's fragrance free but the ingredients don't smell great. I wouldn't want added fragrance though since that would probably contribute to further irritation. Regardless, I do recommend this moisturizer.
