Use fingertips to apply mattifying primer and pat into skin.

I have a normal skin type that is neither too oily or too dry. I even tested this travel size primer in a more hot and humid environment, assuming my skin might be slightly more oily. Unfortunately, this primer made my skin very flaky and dry. My makeup did not stay put due to it. I noticed most of the dryness was around my nose and mouth. I much prefer the other grip primers, especially the mint one! I wish this would have worked better for me like it did for others!
