I usually do not enjoy wearing matte lipsticks but this was great. It isn't chalky or drying like other mattes. Feels good on the lips and the scent is nice. This lipstick is a great matte formula for those with chronically chapped lips. It feels soft and almost velvety on application. It gives a soft matte effect, that's not completely flat. It lasts ok but isn't an all day matte. It fades naturally, though, so you don't have to worry about it cracking. The applicator doesn't pick up much product so it did take me about 3 dips to cover my lips. The color buffiest is also more of a greige than a nice pink on my fair skin.
