Most Helpful Positive Review Pretty good I just received two pots from when they were recently restocked. You can see from the pics that it did practically erase my huge pores but you have to use very little.
At first, I was a bit heavy handed and used a cover-up brush expecting a thicker, putty consistency. It was much thinner than the website picture and putting on heavy made it impossible to put on foundation.
Next time, I tried using very little and dipped my sponge in it. Tapping it on worked well. Then used other side of sponge to tap and smooth on the foundation.
So pretty good overall. I am not blown away yet but it may be something I need to play with to find what works for me :)
Most Helpful Critical Review I want to hide under a rock I was so excited to try this primer because I have pretty large pores. It did okay and blurred them some what, not better than silicone primers to be honest. A couple of days later I noticed some pimples and thought it was just from stress, then literally two days later after using it I got acne all over my face, and I have never been the type to really get full blown acne, but it's huge and all over my face, it looks like I have going through puberty again, and I'm super embarrassed. I clean my face twice a day and take really good care of my skin, but never in my life had a product or anything make me break out those bad. I understand it's a pores filler but once I take my make up off I notice mire pimples that have formed. It's just not for me what so ever.

Don't really like how it sits on my face . I have dry acne prone skin and it does break me out. But looks pretty good sometimes lol .
It didn't hide ANY of my pores! 2

I have bought this product a couple times and although it does a great job priming the skin for makeup, it does not hide a single pore like the name suggests. I have tried multiple methods of applying it to get the results it promises but I just hasn't worked for me.
Returned! 2

This may not be right for the people with skin conditions. I have several dry patches on my skin and the primer stuck to it. It didn't cover my pores. Overall it looked terrible. Going without a primer has worked better on my dry skin.
Please be careful if you have breakout prone skin! 1

Ok so I don't ever write reviews but I have to warn anyone with sensitive skin. I've been getting breakouts for months and could not figure out what was going on. It was getting to the point where I was getting very self conscious and wondering if it was hormonal or this was just my skin now. I swapped out my whole makeup routine before figuring out it was this primer 🤦♀️ Finally stopped using this last week and haven't had a pimple since. Now just have to deal with the scaring. My fault for not realizing it sooner (I only do my makeup a few times a week and for some reason I thought I used this primer in the past with no problems) and it's probably fine if you don't have sensitive skin but if you do, I'd stay far away from this.

I just bought this last week and was skeptical but it does work! I have fairly dry skin but large pores on my cheeks. This really did help to conceal my pores and my makeup sits well on top. I use Missha BB cream for foundation btw since my skin leans dry. This product definitely makes my skin look smoother and doesn't make it look dry in any way. Beautiful results and I'm glad I decided to try it!
Love this product!!! 5

So, on clean, dry skin, apply moisturizer and let dry for a couple of minutes. Then apply primer and give that a minute. Then apply your foundation. It will look beautiful!!
absolutely LOVE! 5

this primer goes so well with any concealer or foundation. it really does blur your pores. i love the consistency as well. many compare it to the tatcha silk canvas primer but i actually prefer the E.L.F one over it. my fav so far.

I have larger pores on my cheeks near my nose. It's genetic. I'm an esthetician and have done everything to make them smaller. They're not clogged nor do I have oily skin. Just unfortunate genetics. Every primer i have tried has not completely blurred them and I have come to accept that probably no product ever will. My coworkers say they're not really visible but I can see them and that's what matters. So I've searched everywhere. I've tried this putty primer 3 times and returned twice. The first time I just used my fingers and applied it all over. Didn't fill the pores. The second time I tried patting it into my pores with my fingers which got a little better result but not great like I heard this stuff was. So this time I used a small flat brush and pressed it into the areas that my pores are visible. It doesn't completely hide them but it looks a lot better. I only use it in that area and use my Urban Decay primer everywhere else. I'm happy with the results.
Definitely a keeper. 5

Does exactly what it says it does. Blends out easy. Great price point.
I like to use it alone 3

I like this without any make up on top. It really fills in my pores when I take my time to apply it but I don't like how my foundation sits on top of it though.
Great product 5

Very affordable product that works real well.I have mature skin and this definitely helps my foundation go on a lot smoother.
Hydrated & Poreless! 5

I have super dry skin, especially in the winter so typically I go for a hydrating primer but figured this was worth a try after going viral on TT. I use with the elf putty brush, it feels so nice on skin & looks great under foundation!
I would buy this product again, budget friendly 5

I really like this primer! When I am lazy to do my whole make up, I just apply this with a little mascara and I am ready to go!

It's a decent primer, and I think that it works well. You just need to be very conscious of the type of products you put over it, especially if you have dry skin

Out of sheer curiosity I decided to see what all the fuss was about regarding this primer by ELF. While the texture is silky smooth and price is right, the longevity of this product isn't stellar on my combination skin. I noticed patchiness in my face makeup halfway through my day, including some rather unbecoming creases on the under-eye area. I rarely experience creasing this severe even when using my usual go to, which is Benefit's The Porefessional.

Caused my face to feel really dry, made my liquid foundation looked pretty powdery. My make up just looked terrible by the end of the day. I don't know what the hype is about
FAV PRIMER EVER 5
mari from tx
such a great dupe for the tatcha silk canvas primer but it's honestly a bit better. I have very dry textured skin but this blurs EVERYTHING and hydrates my skin too. 100% recommend.

This makes my Rare Beauty foundation slip off and look patchy within an hour. sad :/
The only primer that has worked for me 5
D from Austin
I've tried a lot of different primers and this is the only one that actually makes my skin look smooth. I've never been a fan of primers because they did nothing for me, but applying this before my foundation and concealer made it go on perfectly. No creases and foundation doesn't break apart. I love it! I used this with the naked foundation and it cosmetics bye bye under eye concealer, on top of my moisturiser and sunscreen. I have combo skin. Nose and forehead gets oily and upper cheeks sometimes dry in winter.
Would not recommend on dry skin 3

some days it works, some days it doesn't. Really isn't worth the investment, and it also creates breakage on foundation!
