Solid Product from Benefit!I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest review. I'm someone who really likes trying new setting sprays because I find that I usually have difficulty keeping my makeup on the entire day. Benefit's POREfessional claims to help with makeup longevity without alcohol, AND blur the appearance of pores. First things first: the spritzer is so gentle. Like INCREDIBLY gentle. You might feel like you're getting nothing on your face, but you definitely are. I've never experienced droplets with this thing! This product absolutely has a smoothing effect to the skin. Not necessarily pore-filling, but it smooths out the look of makeup for sure. I did a half-face test and I noticed after letting it sit that I much preferred the look of my under eye on the side that had the POREfessional spray. I'm not sure if the POREfessional particularly extended the longevity of my makeup, but I did notice when using this product I had minimal transfer to my mask. Usually when I take off my mask, the foundation transfer is very noticeable, even with powder. But I found that with powder and the POREfessional combined, there was a LOT less transfer. Overall this is a solid product from Benefit! While this isn't a new holy grail or "run out and buy it right now" for me, I'm definitely gonna use up the bottle because it does its job and does it well. If you like setting spray and a smoothing effect, but feel like alcohol may be driving you out, I'd give this a shot. :)Not wowedI have mostly normal skin that can get oily in the T-zone by the end of the night. My nose has noticeable pores but not so much so that I'll take the time daily to use a primer. While I'm not a big setting spray user, I found the POREfessional: Super Setter an interesting concept and I was excited to try it out. It felt like it could be an easy way to extend my makeup wear time while also blurring pores! The packaging is a pretty blue/teal. There are two caps, which feels unnecessary and I'll likely lose the smaller cap sooner rather than later. They could have saved a little plastic and only included one cap. The mister on this spray is AMAZING. It's incredibly fine and lightweight. The bummer thing is, after using it twice, it started leaking where push down on the sprayer.... There are three main claims that are made about this spray. 1) Locks on makeup for 16 hours. ---- Yes, I believe this spray did help my makeup stay in place. One day I wore the spray on one half of my face and not the other. I made sure it was on a day that I had to leave the house and would be wearing a mask. While I was only at the store for 15 minutes, the side of my face that did not have spray had makeup rub off while the side that did was more intact. This was only 15 minutes so who knows how it would have held up if it was longer. Inside my home and when I've gone on runs it has helped my makeup stay in place, but probably not enough for me to get another bottle. 2) Instantly blurs pores & visibly reduces shine. ---- I personally did not see any blurring of my pores 3) Waterproof, smudge-proof & fade-proof. Aside from the waterproof aspect, this claim feels very similar to the first and I cannot speak to the waterproof claim at this time. I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

I purchased the mini version of this and I like the smell, and the fine mist. However I have very oily skin, and my makeup looked dewy. My face had too much shine within 2 hours. I will be looking for a matte finish for setting sprays.

I absolutely have to have this to finish up my makeup routine! It's pretty pricey but last a long time and actually keeps your makeup locked all day. It's such a refreshing mist that feels great.

My bottle came half empty but was not even opened. I poured out the product to measure it, and there wasn't even a full ounce, barely even .5. Absolute waste :(
