I bought a jar of the clay mask and opened it about 8 months ago. There is an orange residue building on the surface of the clay. Is this normal or should I discard?

Goodbye oil clogged pores!!!
I don't think there is a woman and probably half the men on earth that doesn't have memories of using a green clay based face mask during our youth! I've been in the beauty industry since 16 years old and I remember the old school green clay masks, typically by Queen Helene (mint julepe) or Freeman....

Product caused a chemical reaction
Top notes: Did not perform compared to others when using to clear blackheads or just a general pore cleanse. Noticed no improvement of skin afterwards or over time. After a few uses with no reaction, I had severe chemical reaction to this product which left my skin blistering red for most of the day...

Meh
I like to keep a clay mask on hand to remove dead skin before heavy makeup days. This one takes too long to dry and is very thin. It works okay but innisfrees mask is definjtely superior.
Chemical burn
I used this product for about 5x and it worked great. But last night, it gave me a chemical burn. Left it on until it dried, washed it off, and I looked like a lobster. It's better the next morning but still not back to normal.
Fabulous
This mask really did what I needed it to do! It cleaned and shrank my pores and gave my skin great radiance! The experience was very enjoyable as well!

I was very excited to try the Pore Amour Clarifying Clay Mask, however, I was very disapointed. The formula was very thin and took a lot of product to cover my face. Even after removal, my face felt normal and still slightly oily. Very meh.
Great for pores
Loved using this mask. It's nice and creamy so it doesn't dry out the skin quickly. Post washing off I noticed the appearance of pores redeuced. My skin looked clean and brighter! It's great for someone looking for a quick fix.
