Works well for my acne prone skin

I ran put of sunscreen sooner than expected. The hotel was selling this sunscreen. I was a bit hesitant because I break out easily, but had to purchase since we were staying on a beach with intense sun. I wore this for 3 days, reapplied every few hours, and I did not get a single sunburn. Surprising...

White cast and pilling

When I first tried it on my hand, I felt it rubbed in we'll so I was hopeful because it's so hard to find sunscreen for brown skin tones. But after using it fully on my face and arms, it started to pill when I had moisturizer, cream, or eczema ointment underneath. It was kind of like it turned to ha...

White cast on darker complexion

Submitted 2 years ago

By John

From Central Valley, CA

I read a review on here that said this sunscreen leaves a white cast and I 100% attest to that. It's a pretty strong white cast that might work for a day at the beach but not for regular use. Hopefully Supergoop! can make a mineral sunscreen for darker complexions but for now I'll continue using their Play: Everyday Lotion SPF 30.

I can't use this sunscreen

Wanted to like this because its 100% mineral but the white overcast on my complexion is too much for me to use. The regular Play lotion works better for me.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend to a friend

Don't trust supergoops spf rating

Submitted 2 years ago

By Rayray69

From Usa

I don't trust that supergoops products actually protect from the sun. I have consistently gotten red after using her liquid versions, glow screen, clear glow stick. I honestly have zero trust in this brand and it is so expensive. I mean like almost $50 for a few months worth of SPF protection. It's sad when I can trust another countries spf (Asian beauty) over our own. Not only supergoop but my skin has gone from pale to light medium while using other sunscreen brands since Covid. Idk if the quality of products has changed or what has happened but I just have lost faith in usa spf brands.
