The mattes are smooth and gorgeous but the shimmers come off lacking not even bright enough to be a shadow topper.

Love this palette
Glad I found this. I was waiting for a higher-end brand to go in sale, which never did. I prefer the matte shadows, which all of these colors in this palette are. Please make more matte shadow palettes, ELF. The price cannot be beat.
No pigment on eyelids!
I tried everything to get the shadows to apply to my eye lids. I primed my eyes with glitter glue. I used my fingers to apply to my lids. I tried brushes. 😪 Elf, I'd be willing to pay more for better eyeshadow products! This was my 3rd time buying and trying your eyeshadow pallets. Returned again.
