No Spills + SPF = nearly perfect powder!
I loved the innovative packaging of this setting powder. The combination of the brush and powder in one dispenser is a game-changer. No more worries about spilling loose powder everywhere – it's neat, compact, and perfect for my handbag. The coverage is very light, which I appreciated for a natural...

Messy and Unhygenic Powder Option
Thank you to bareMinerals for the free sample in exchange for my review. On the plus side, this is a powder with SPF 25, which is a convenient option for topping up after your initial application of sunscreen throughout the day. But that's where the pros end, unfortunately. This mica-based formula d...

Returned product/Allergic reaction
I was thrilled to see this new mineral veil product when my store was out of the original loose and the compact. I had never tried this one or one with spf but I needed it asap for work so I thought I would try it. I'm 35 and have only used bareMinerals products since my early teenage years. I had an awful allergic reaction to this product. Not to mention it is not translucent like the others, but WHITE. I looked ridiculous and also immediately was sneezing, itchy inside nose, mouth, throat, ears….shortly after a hive like rash came up on my cheeks that also itched terribly bad. The next day all of these symptoms persisted accompanied by a terrible headache. So. Much. Itching. Several Benadryl later for 2 days and I was better and returned this product to the store immediately. What is up with this stuff? I have never in my life had any problems with bareMinerals products but this one. Highly do not recommend.
powder is wayyy too light
I'm brown but my skin tone ranges from the light spectrum. However this powder is not translucent at all! It's quite obviously too white for me so there's many skin tones this also just wouldn't work on. currently trying to find an alternative.
Missed the Mark
When I saw this I was thrilled because it looked so compact and easy to use. Wrong, compact yes, but it doesn't work like it claims. The powder does not distribute into the brush, I've tried everything and when I brush my palm there is no powder at all. Waste of money and I love BareMinerals products.
SPF powder
My skin tone is warm tan and I bought this product because it's described as a translucent poweder with spf. I wanted a portable product so I could easily re-apply my spf when away from home. I like that it's small enough to keep in a purse and the ability to control oil. Unfortunately, I would not buy this again because it's not translucent or sheet on my skin tone, it looked like there was a white cast in the places I applied it. The brush is too flimsy to apply an even amount on the face leaving it blotchy. It's messy so I felt like I was wasting product.
Love the idea
I've been trying to get in the habit of wearing sunscreen everyday. I researched so many and most make my face still feel a bit greasy. I found this product and loved that it had SPF in it. I figured I would use it to touch up my SPF during the day or 15 min after applying my sunscreen to feel less greasy. It's a great product and easy to throw in my purse. Only con however, sometimes too much powder comes out causing face to become white. When that happens I have to use my kabuki brush to wipe the excess off. Otherwise, it's a decent powder. Also, please if anyone thinks they can just rely on this for sun protection please DO NOT!
