Mixed Feelings ?
If you want the atoms scrubbed from your hair since the day you were 4 years old this is the product for you. This will clean the spaghetti stains off your Tupperware. It says it has no sulfates in it and I REALLY question that, because I've never had a clarifying shampoo clean my hair THIS well. The smell...smells like dish soap.. I'm not a fan of the smell. I have thick coarse hair and I didn't think it would clean my hair well, but boy was I wrong. I would not recommend this product on anyone that doesn't use a lot of products in their hair. If you use a lot of creams and oils, I definitely recommend if you need a fresh restart
Great for fine, thin, color treated hair
I have fine, color treated hair. I was a little worried about using this with the reviews noting dry hair. I used for 3 minutes and followed with the hair mask. My hair feels so clean and soft and amazing! Did not strip color. I use all the prodicts and love them all!! Its brought my hair back!
Is this straight alcohol?
I was looking for something more gentle than another high end brand I had been using. This is the worst clarifying shampoo I've ever tried. Stripped my hair down to straw and it looks terrible even after no. 4 conditioning.
Gets job done
Ive tried several clarifying shampoos and this one really works! I have very oily hair and use clarifying shampoo every wash. This one is amazing! Always gets the build up for non drying silky strands. Unfortunately it does strip color but i have yet to find a clarifying shampoo that doesnt.

About me: I am now considered a "senior," and have a lot of grey in my temples and crown. I also have naturally fine, straight, limp, damaged hair. My solution is to have a heavy foil and a perm about once a year, after which I start using the big guns - #3, 6, and 8, in addition to the shampoo and conditioner. I've been using Olaplex for like 8-10 years now, and while I feel like I need to switch to something else every couple of months, I find that nothing helps my hair as much as Olaplex. My hair is longer than I've ever had it now - to my bra band in the back - and I swim in the saltwater several times a week. If it were not for Olaplex, my hair would be short, grey, and limp!!
