Most Helpful Positive Review Goodbye, clogged pores! I can't lie here. I used to be one of those girls who would use her fingers or tweezers to try to get those pesky clogged pores to release their demons. I saw this, and thought it was worth a shot. Holy cow, am I glad I got it! It's so easy to use, and my pores get cleared out once a week! No more giant blackheads! I found it's best to use it after a hot shower. Make sure to disinfect the tool and your skin before and after use. I like to soak the tool in rubbing alcohol for a few minutes. After I'm done I'll do the same. Rub your skin with some peroxide before use, and use a product after that has peroxide in it (don't want any bacteria to get into those newly evicted pores!). Hello, clear skin! Goodbye, clogged pores!
Most Helpful Critical Review Supposed to be a better way . . I got this tool for easier extraction of white heads and black heads so I don't mark my skin using my fingers. The directions instruct you to to use on skin that has been steamed so the pores are open. Whether wet or dry the use of this tool is a bit difficult. It hurts from time to time too and being fair skinned sometimes with that hurt I end up with a few marks from one to many passes over any one area.
Overall it does get the junk out of the pores of your nose and chin easy, but other areas of the face, such as the cheek or forehead, are harder.

Instructions would be great 4

Still getting used to this. Wish I came with instructions so I don't have to watch videos on the internet. Easy to forget which end does what.
No slip skin care tool came apart 1

Love Tweezerman! However, this item is nothing like the previous one I had for years...and lost. One end is just a metal loop barely pushed into the handle. It fell out the first time I used it. Also, it is too short.
New one is horrible 1

I had one for 20 years and it broke. I ordered a new one, the angle is too flat, the barrel is round and rolls vs the original square handle, better grip.
Has some really deep pores 3

Has some really deep pores and it doesn't quite get all of it out
I would buy this product again 5

This product is amazing! I was able to remove all of the blackheads from my nose. I was worried I wouldn't be able to since it has been so long, but they all came off with ease!
Works well but the ends 4
Kevin S. from undisclosed
Works well but the ends are not attached to the handle, just pinned in each end so my first one came apart.

Really works with blackheads ! Love it
Nice 5

This works nicely. I pick at my skin pretty compulsively, sometimes using sharper tools like tweezers or bobby pins. This helps me pop consciously - since getting it, I've been picking at things less and being more gentle when I do.

Great to help get blackheads and whiteheads and pimples. No squeegeeing to death.
It made my skin worse 1
Ariana from CT
While it technically got rid of my whiteheads, it left my skin in bad shape. It made all of the whitehead areas bleed, when I didn't apply much pressure, and there was a puffy circle around the scab as well. The idea is great, but I wouldn't recommend doing this at home. I think this tool is best for skincare professionals.

This is my first-time purchases 4

This is my first-time purchases from this brand. So far, all tool's quality is good and seems durable. I have used both skincare and lash comb. Have not used tweezer yet. I know this brand know for its tweezers, therefore, I believe it will not disappoint me.
Overall, I am happy with my purchases.

Forgot to add! You must wash your face after using this otherwise you will break out. When you're extracting, you're pulling out oil, dirt and bacteria, so this must be sanitized before AND after each use otherwise you're just spreading it all over your face over and over again. The process for using this may seem convoluted and impractical, but you just have to find the best way of integrating it into your routine and using it properly. I promise you will not know how you ever did without this!

If I had a deserted island skincare tool, this would be it without hesitation. I have used this tool for years and I recently lost mine for the 2nd time, and finally got my replacement today. I have tried a few other brands but have not used a more effective and gentle one than tweezerman.
In regards to the bad reviews, you really need to be careful about how you use this. Users on here assume you can push this on a dry, unwashed face and that is simply not the case. Your face will be red and inflamed if you attempt to do that and don't roll the tool gently around your pimples as directed. I only use it after I've taken a shower and my pores are fully open and ready to be extracted. It removes all of my dead skin, white heads, clears out blackheads on my nose (except for the really deep ones), and truly reveals the radiant new skin underneath all of the gunk it takes off. All extractions should be done when your pores are open, they should never be attempted dry or without prep. You should also go upwards and not downwards to loosen up the sebum properly. I highly suggest the bad reviewers use it again and do it GENTLY! It really takes practice and trial and error. This tool is a lifesaver and I promise you it will become your HG for your skin once you figure it out. Give it another shot! It's amazing!

Good Extraction Tool 4
BM from Midland, MI
This tool can be used on clean or dry skin, but it's best to use it on freshly washed skin. I was skeptical about buying because I thought it was going to be a waste of money. To be honest, it works great! It frees pores of debris, getting the job done. It's best to take your time to avoid irritation. Also, try not to go over parts of the skin several times, as it will cause marking. Other than that, it's a must have.

Being at home has made me think a lot about my skincare routine. This tool has given my routine a new edge and my skin has never felt cleaner. Easy to use and efficient.

I think this product would work well if you have great big blackheads. But for little ones, you have to push too hard and it leaves a mark. Not my favorite product.
Great for Clogged Pores 5
M. Davis from Massachusetts
I have been trying a lot of skincare products to help get rid of some clogged pores/ blackheads, but they were so stubborn. This tool got rid of them with the utmost ease. For VERY stubborn ones, a warm washcloth over the skin for a couple minutes opened the pore right up for extraction.
worked so well, I bought more for family 5
Busy Bea from Florida
The two different sized ends make it twice as effective. The larger end works best on swollen whiteheads or cysts. The smaller end easily removes blackheads. Bought more for my husband and teenagers to use individually. Using this is more gentle than trying to squeeze the skin between fingers.
Great but it hurts a little 4

This is good for removing heads of white and black heads. It hurts a little but is worth it.
