For the perfect manicure, apply one coat of any of Essie's base coats on nails. Follow with two coats of essie original nail color. Finish with any one of Essie's top coats.

Beautiful shimmer, color not as expected

It is also listed as special effects nail polish that features holographic and light reflecting finishes. I would not describe it as velvety blue. I will agree that it has a nice special finish to it that is holographic/light reflecting. This color is pretty but I felt like it took me quite a few coats to get any real color to show. I personally wouldn't use it on its own, but could see it being a really nice finishing coat on top of another color. Based on the bottle color, I was expecting a vibrant blue. It's a much different color but does carry a beautiful sheen and glimmer to it.
Obsessed with the color

It's a beautiful, bold baby-blue that feels perfect for summer—fun, flirty, and super vibrant. The formula goes on smoothly and evenly, and it only took two coats for full coverage. It dried pretty quickly and lasted several days without chipping. It instantly gives my nails a bright, beachy vibe that I absolutely love!

The texture is shear and works well as alone or on top of any colors. It looks like pearl blue color. The brush is wide and easy to apply product. Dryes quickly and last.
Nice yelliw
[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] The new shade limon ciela by Essie is a great yellow. This color is a great yellow sunshiny color. Essie makes great nail polish that applies beautifully with two coats. It last longer than most polishes and I find I don't have chipping issues.
Give your nails a pretty special effect.
This color was nice as a topper for an extra special effect. I used the color Rivera Rush and then added this color bikini snapped. Love the quality, it was comfortable and last me over 4 days and that's amazing for me since my nail polish never last. The size of the nail polish is perfect and fits in my to go bag for when I need it to travel. This product was sent to me for an exchange of my honest review.
