Great addition for those with super dry skin
Sorry for the long review!! I've been using the moisture surge line again for the last 2.5 years. I stopped using it 20 or so years ago because they only had the original moisture surge at that time, and it wasn't enough of a booster for my very dry skin. My sister worked for Clinique then, and even...

Sticky, disappointed
I wanted to love this. I currently use Cerave PM for my morning and nighttime moisturizer (recommended by my Derm) and absolutely love it for face and hands! Cerave PM serum fully absorbs and doesn't leave a greasy or thick residue. With this Clinique Moisture surge, I feel like it layers on my skin...

this isn't lotion; it's a soupy mess

I'm upset that this is advertised as lotion, as this is nowhere near the consistency of lotion. it's a soupy, liquidy mess that gets sticky easily. very dissapointed.
Nice followup for an exfoliant or to use before a retinol

I was feeling a little bit of stinging from an exfoliant and this lotion soothed my face pretty quickly.
Serum absorber!

The hydro-infused lotion doesn't feel like a lotion. It's a very light liquid that I put on before my serums and moisturizers that helps to absorb and spread my serums more easily. I feel like you have to work quickly with this "lotion" because it gets sticky on the skin (I think the stickiness is the aloe) and dries quickly, but it's not intended to be a deep moisturizer.
So Refreshing!

I recently received a sample of this product with my order. Tried it and loved how light it is! It makes a very nice night moisturizer as I am someone who really can't stand heavy night creams when I'm trying to sleep. I like it so much, I have been using it under my regular moisturizer during the day!
Perfect for all skin types.

Purchased this for my aging skin. I am 33 years old and I feel like my skin is getting drier everyday. It's first step of my daily skincare routine. It makes my skin moisturized and glow. I love this lotion and I wish it comes with a jumbo size.
