It can be applied directly onto clean skin or over top of moisturizer. Oily skin types will not need to use this with a moisturizer. If skin requires more moisture, apply MAC Mineralize Timecheck Lotion on top of moisturizer after it has completely dried down. It evens out the complexion, the texture looks smoother, and it blurs visible lines and wrinkles. It is infused with MAC Charged Water Technology which replenishes lost moisture and activates skin for better hydration and MAC Multi-Mineral Complex which helps nourish the skin. This product was recently recommended to me and I am wondering if it is best to use in place of a primer AND a moisturizer before applying my foundation, or if it is meant more to be used just as a primer over the top of my daily moisturizer? I am oily and don't want to cause breakouts. Thanks!!

I absolutely LOVE the timecheck lotion! I really like the fact that it's a hybrid between a moisturizer and a primer so if you want to, you can eliminate that extra step. I have dry skin and I've been looking for a moisturizer that won't clog my pores, doesn't feel greasy on my skin, and I can wear over my sunscreen. This is it! It actually minimizes the look of my pores and moisurizes my skin all day without feeling and looking greasy. It also doesn't clog my pores like a lot of "pore minimizing" products do. I don't know how it is under makeup because I don't wear anything but mascara.

I really liked this product until one day I fell in LOVE. I had showered the night before and practically bathed in a very expensive and organic body butter. I washed my face and was doing my morning face cream routine and I accidently put a pump of the Timecheck on the back of my hand like I would to add my foundation. I rubbed it in and continued with my routine. After I finished and went to put on my hand lotion I noticed a massive difference. My left hand looked much smoother and younger. Now I am sold. If you can make that much of a difference with one pump on my hand- I'm a believer for my face. I'll never not use this on my face and back of my hands every day.

Of courseeeee it'll last you longer but I do my makeup a lot and sometimes I just use it as a double moisturizer cause it blurs my skin🥰 I have really dry skin with annoyingly large pores and the occasional break out, when I use this primer/moisturizer ggiiirrrrllll you can't even tell… if you are questioning whether or not to get it? Just do it!
