Liquid Powder's quick-dry formula sets within seconds, so we recommend working on one eye at a time. For a sheer wash of color, swipe the wand along your lid to apply a small amount--a little goes a long way. Blend with your finger using a gentle dabbing motion. For a deeper dose of color or to add a different shade, let your first layer dry completely. Apply another thin layer on top and gently blend.

I've been looking for something like Glossier's skywash for ages. Skywash is unfortunately an awful product no matter how much I want to love it. Hopefully one day they put more than two uses worth of makeup in the tube! Anyway. My friend bought the rose chromatic one from Ilia when this product was first launched and at the time we were both disappointed in it: it was hard to get a smooth blend, dried down splotchy, creased, and only looked worse with time. I kept shopping but nothing worked. Then a few years later, while getting some mascara and brow gel from Ilia, I saw they had launched these matte tones! They were so pretty that I had to try it just once, just in case, even with the bad product experience in the past. Cause what if it was dope? Guys, my intuition paid off. This has none of the issues that we had with that chromatic one. As long as you blend it soon it blends rather seamlessly, it lasts for hours, it doesn't dry out or irritate my eyelids, the color is gorgeous. Definitely avoid putting this on top of eyelid primer, it gets weird. And don't mix with traditional powders. This product has an effortless beauty alone thankfully so I'm happy to use it as is or try layering it with another color from the same collection. Tempted to get one of each. My only question is, is there a chance they reformulated the chromatics and they are just as amazing? Let me know!
