Liquid eyeshadows can be hit or miss and Iem happy to say this one was a hit! I got the colors Girlypop (matte pinky-red) & candy dipped (champagne shimmer with chunky multicolored glitter) and I love them both! First pic with my eyes open is just Girlypop and second pic with them shut is Girlypop &... candydipped together. Girlypop all over your upper and lower lids when youere pale like me can give you a very tired or sickly appearance which I personally love haha (I have naturally very dark circles and donet mind playing it up plus I just love fun and experimental and exciting makeup) but I understand some people wont e I still would tell them to get Girlypop though if they like the color and just donet use it thickly all over your top and bottom lid use it in combination with other (probably lighter) colors or use it as a liner or something but ites a really gorgeous shade and makes the green tones in my hazel eyes pop (I think colors like this can make every eye color pop too) plus ites VERY pigmented and would look absolutely incredible on darker complexions. Girlypop blends out like a dream I used my fingers to dab it across my lids then blended the edges with a brush it was very creamy and easy to work with and didnet dry down quickly I had more than enough time to get it perfect before it set. And once it set it didnet get crusty or powdery ites listed as a matte but ites not SUPER matte if that makes sense more of a creamy matte that almost leans esatinye in finish. I wore just these two eyeshadow alone without any primer or powders just to see how theyed do and I was pleasantly surprised. There was some fading of course but it faded evenly and not patchy and it did settle into my lines (as you can see I have pretty bad fine lines) but not nearly as bad as I was expecting. I also have horrendous allergies and itchy/watery eyes so I was expecting that to affect the shadow but me wiping my eyes and the watering really didnet have much of an effect. Ieve also worn these with primer/blended with powder shadow and they also worked great for that too I used the primer first obviously then put the matte liquid shadows down first then powders then glitters. I know this brand has gone very viral on social media with the peel-off lipliners but these shadows are actually the first thing Ieve tried from them and now Iem definitely interested in seeing what else this brand has to offer. And these shadows are on the mid-pricier side of things but I do think theyere worth it they certainly performed better than cheaper liquid shadows I have and these will last you a LONG time as it only takes a tiny dab of product to cover your eyes. Highly recommend!
