This product was beautiful in color and consistency. I feel it is better as an all over base color. Trying to be precise with it didn't really work well. Very pigmented and packs a lot of color in one swipe. If you build it up too much on creasy eyelids it will show. Dries fast so you have to blend it out fast.

I was skeptical of using a liquid eyeshadow product for a variety of reasons, but chief among them was a concern about the lasting power. Imagine my pleasant surprise when this beautiful product went on smoothly, had a beautiful color, and stayed as perfect as it did at application even during the most long and grueling of days. A++++

I tested this product out on my hand first to see how it performed before using it on my eyes. It's a little too liquid-y so you don't need a lot of product to use. I used my finger to move it around and lightly tapped to blend it. You have to let it dry down and this takes a moment, and once it's been dried it does not move. You can't blend it out anymore without applying more product so that was a bummer. Did not easily wash off with water either. I feel like because of the lack of blendability with this I was neither here nor there with it. I'll still use it for some looks but just use it as a base.

This was my first time using the Stila Liqua-play eyeshadow in Marvelous Matte, and I must say "wow!!" I was very impressed! The application was so smooth - it only took a short minute to dry. When it was dry, it wasn't going anywhere! You don't need to worry about creasing either. This eyeshadow lasts all day, and because it's blend-able you can easily throw a shimmery shade on top and hit the town at night. The color is very versatile, and I feel like would look great on any skin tone. I have blue eyes and it really makes my baby blues pop!
