Not like other lip oils on the market!
I absolutely love when lip products have spf in them; caring for the skin ALL over your body is so important, and the lips are often overlooked. With all of the hype surrounding lip oils lately, I'm not surprised Coola came out with a lip oil spf. While I do like the product, I'm not sure I'll repu...

Coola Organic Liplux Hydrating lip oil

Coola Liplux Hydrating Oil Golden Glow is my first spf lip oil. I really like it. It makes my lips feel really hydrated and soft. It's SPF 30 and antioxidant enriched. The brand is cruelty free and vegan. I really don't mind the taste. I noticed a lot of people say it's hard to keep it out of your mouth and it tastes bad but to me it's not horrible. It does feel a little greasy but it's a lip oil so that's expected. The packaging is nice and keeps the product from spilling out into my purse because the lid is a twist on. I really like the applicator on this oil. It feels silicon and I've never had an applicator like that before. I really like the way this oil look on my lips too. I can really tell a difference in my lips when I've been wearing this oil for an extended period. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
Greasy Mess

I've been trying out Coola's Classic Liplux Organic Hydrating Lip Oil Sunscreen SPF 30 for the past week and I was thoroughly disappointed by this product. I really appreciate lip products trying to provide SPF protection because it is among some of the thinnest parts of the body. The product also claims to be hydrating which is also great because the cells in your lips are more prone to losing water. However, after I used this product, I found that my lips were more dry than it was a week ago. First of all, this product has a nice applicator, however the taste of this oil is absolutely gross. Additionally, it feels like I'm putting olive oil directly on my lips and there is absolutely no hydrating going on. I tried putting on another lip balm underneath and layering this on top, but I shouldn't have to do that for hydration. This product also does not stay on the lips at all and the greasy feeling it leaves behind just irks me. I have to say this product is among one of the worst, if not the worst, lip product I've ever tried, despite the really pretty bottle. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
The hunt for the perfect lip SPF stops here!

This SPF lip oil is everything I wanted! It's incredibly moisturizing without being sticky, and the light, pleasant scent makes it a joy to use. The curved applicator is a fun touch and makes application effortless and even. I love that it has no pigment—most SPF lip products are tinted balms that highlight every lip line and don't hydrate enough. This one delivers the perfect balance of sun protection, hydration, and shine. My lips feel soft, smooth, and nourished, thanks to the Camellia and Jojoba Oils. The SPF is effective, and I finally have a lip product that protects without compromising comfort. It's my new go-to, and I'll definitely be repurchasing! If you want smooth, hydrated lips with SPF protection, this is a must-have. Perfect for daily wear! **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
Not a fan

As someone studying cosmetic science, I'm always on the lookout for multifunctional products that deliver on their promises, so I was excited to try the lip oil. The idea of combining hydration, shine, and sun protection in one product seemed perfect for my on-the-go lifestyle. Initially, I was impressed by its lightweight texture and glossy finish, which felt nourishing thanks to the inclusion of Camellia and Jojoba Oils. However, my enthusiasm quickly faded as I realized the formula didn't last long at all. Despite its pleasant feel upon application, it wore off almost immediately, requiring constant reapplication throughout the day. The texture was another issue—it didn't adhere well to my lips, which meant it often ended up in my mouth, leaving an unpleasant taste. While I appreciated that it didn't cause any allergic reactions (a common issue for me with lip products), the overall experience fell short of my expectations. For a product that claims to be hydrating and long-lasting, it simply didn't deliver. While the concept is innovative, the execution needs improvement, and I wouldn't repurchase or recommend it to others seeking a reliable lip product with SPF. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
Terrible bitter taste!

I was so stoked to give this lip oil with spf a try. Upon first opening of the product I was thoroughly impressed. I like the nice clear tube and the lip applicator is made of a flexible rubber material unlike others I've tried. I really like the feeling of this applicator more than any others. I put it on and rubbed my lips together. It felt amazing on my lips. Truly. It's not sticky or tacky in anyway. Two minutes later I was running to the kitchen to get the taste of what I can only describe as the most horrid chemical bitterness. I thought maybe it was a mix of this and something I'd drank before applying but after several tries I've realized it's the oil that's leaving the nasty taste. I wanted to love this but I can't use it. Product was received as part of an educational promotion. **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
