Different formula?
I used to love this mascara. It really volumised my natural lashes. Ive been using this for years and recently bought a new one, the formula looks changed. More running/wet. Makes my lashes clumpy and gross looking. Very disappointed.
Chanel Le Volume Mascara has changed
I have been using Chanel Le Volume mascara for many years. The most recent tube I purchased in June 2026 is definitely NOT the same. The mascara is difficult to remove, is cakey, clumpy and very hard to remove. Le Volume has always been really creamy, long lasting, and very easy to remove. Chanel, please go back to your old, tried and true formula!
Don't waste your money.
Horrible especially for the price. They changed the formula. It was my go to mascara for years, but I will need to find another. It goes on looking well enough, but it has no staying power. Very disappointed. It's not the same mascara.
Little goes a long way
I first purchased this in 2018 and have been wanting to buy it again. It is pricey but its soooo good and lasts such a long time. It coats your lashes beautifully so you really only need 2 coats max.
The best.
One of the few i can wear because of sensitivities, AND the best mascara out there. Period.
