Joico uses all 19 amino acids in the correct order and at the proper weight and size to go into the hair to reconstruct from the inside out. If the hair does not need a specific amino acid, the hair will not accept it. The amino acids fit like puzzle pieces in the hair. There is no possibility of over proteinization or over keratinization with any Joico product. The K-PAK Reconstructor is best used after shampooing with K-PAK Reconstructing Shampoo. It is also recommended to follow the K-PAK Reconstructor with the K-PAK Intense Hydrator Treatment for 5 minutes. For best results, it is recommended to use the K-PAK Reconstructor 1x a week. Can this be used to fix hair that is too soft? I have very fine flat hair and recently it's been so flat and almost too soft after trying multiple different shampoos to try to add body. Now it's just a limp flat mess. I read that protein treatment is what is needed for too soft hair, is this that kind of protein treatment?
