How do I sharpen my JUMBO eye pencil

For best results, turn the pencil gently in the sharpener 3 or 4 times, being careful not to apply excess pressure. After sharpening, remove all shavings from the blade edge. So it doesn't twist up and needs to be sharpened? Nowhere does it state which it is on your product, especially since you make it seem plastic. Normally not a material to be sharpened. Seems that would be required, otherwise maybe a deceptive sales practice. Before even trying it I am fed up and will find a better brand that is transparent in their product.

It's been said that the jumbo eye pencils can be sharpened. HOW? How do you sharpen these please!? I've gone through 3 different sharpeners and it's down right impossible! Even the NYX sharpener doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Is there a technique? The plastic is sooo hard and I have to put so hard to get even a little more. Then the product breaks off. Wash rinse repeat. I really love the colors and convenience when I'm on the go. But I can't put these in my purse stash anymore because I always have to have them pre-sharpened (which takes 10-15 minutes of wrestling for my "trio" of colors). I'm trying to keep my purse make-up bag minimal and able to fit. The prep time is far outweighing the portable, easy-to-apply convenience of this product. Why plastic anyway?
