I was excited for the opportunity to try HY-GEN Bronze - Energizing & Hydrating Primer Serum! As a woman of color, I had never tried a bronzing primer before using this product so testing this was a different experience from my typical skin and makeup routines. Firstly, the bottle looks very lux and has some weight to it. When I initially put some on my arm, it looked a little dark and I was skeptical about how it would show up on my skin, but it sheered out (picture 1). I tried this product both as a serum then as a primer. When I used the bronzing primer as a serum before my moisturizer (picture 2) I was pleasantly surprised by how the product applied. It has a nice texture, felt great on my skin, and it gave me a subtle but beautiful glow. I would use this on its own, without foundation on days I want to wear minimal makeup. When using this as a primer, the bronzing aspect of the product was more prominent. My foundation applied seamlessly on top of the bronzing primer serum (picture 3). This is an innovative, high quality product and I recommend this to anyone who wants that lit from within glow.

At first I thought the product would have a very intense color but no, it's a primer with a touch of bronzer and glow for all skin types, it leaves a nice glow, I feel like it leaves a nice finish and I like to apply it also on those days when I have to go out in a hurry and I don't have time to put on makeup, the packaging is nice and practical, it has a very good amount of product.
