Does this smell anything like the original Burberry Her? I didn't care for it at all, it smelled like rubbing alcohol on my skin but smelled amazing on my mom. Different scents for different people. This is a really nice fragrance. It's not loud or screechy. It's quiet and subtle. To me it smells like a woodsy vanilla raspberry. But that's where the positives end. So I originally had Burberry her and I am a vanilla whipped cream smelling perfume girly so I heard that Burberry her elixir was more vanilla so I decided to try it immediately. It smells to me like strawberries and fresh whipped cream and I love that smell I don't get grandma and I don't get youthful. I think it's a perfect mature, sweet and fruity sent. I think it would be better to use during the daytime during the summer. I wouldn't say it last super long, but it has a very unique amazing smell.

Ughhhh it smells so amazing it's almost addictive! Great value, durable, nice texture, and feels like nothing on your skin. It lasts all day and I get sooo freaking many compliments when I wear it! I recommend it 100%!!! If I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

I absolutely love this perfume and use it all the time. However, compared to other brands I use (Chanel, Viktor&Rolfe, Merit, Replica, even Zara), the scent doesn't last. It stays for about an hour and then you have to re-apply. I still really like it (probably one of my favorite scents ever - slightly floral without being too strong in any way) and still use it, but I've gone through this perfume faster than any of my others because you have to use so much product.
