Can i use this on dry hair before straightening?

If you do spray it on dry hair, I would be cautious to evenly distribute from roots to ends and brush the product through your hair. I wanted a spray that would add shine to my silver hair with heat protection and this does it without adding heaviness. It hair doesn't feel particularly soft but I have very short hair.
Negative Experience with this Product :-(
I have thick and healthy hair. I am slowly trying to switch over to non-toxic beauty products. I decided to try this non-toxic heat protectant spray. After using this product for a few days, I noticed my hair feeling very dry and easily tangled. I was wondering what was going on, so I did a hair mask while in the shower tonight. After the shower, I added this product, like I have been for the past couple of days. I instantly felt my hair becoming dry and tangled, and realized this product was the cause. The ends of my hair feel crunchy and dead! :-( Unfortunately, I will be returning this product.
This messed my hair up bad.
I wanted to love this product bc the brand is clean and natural but this product made my hair dead and brittle. I kept trying it out and spraying it in my hair before i dried it but this product just sucks.
Sticky Residue
This heat protectant leaves my hair so brittle and it leaves a sticky residue! It doesnt leave my hair soft not one bit. Ive used it a couple of times but its just a bad product. Im not one to leave reviews but this product really got on my nerves lol
